The EasySwap program gives you two ways to manage your booking. Here's how each option works:
If your booking is eligible, you'll receive an EasySwap offer via one of AirAsia's official communication channels. All EasySwap offers can only be accepted through AirAsia's official platform. Participation is entirely voluntary and completely optional, with no obligation or requirement to take part.
AirAsia uses an automated system to determine eligible flights and passengers. EasySwap Offers are sent directly to selected passengers. You do not need to apply. If you are eligible, AirAsia will notify you and provide full instructions.
When you select the “Buyback Your AirAsia Flight” offer:
By accepting the Buyback Your AirAsia Flight Offer, you acknowledge that add-ons and airport taxes are already deemed compensated through the Credit Account, and no further compensation will apply.

Depending on the option you select:
Each offer will indicate whether it applies to one or both segments. Please review before accepting.
Connecting Flights. If your itinerary includes one or more connecting flights, any Offer accepted for one segment will apply to the entire connected portion of the itinerary. The Offer Notification will clearly indicate how the change affects your connecting flights, and your itinerary will be updated accordingly.
Self-Connecting Flights. The EasySwap offer is valid only for the specific booking number (reservation code) it was issued for. It cannot be applied to any other bookings, including those you intend to self-connect. AirAsia is not responsible if you miss a subsequent, separately booked connection due to accepting the EasySwap offer.
Yes. If your offer includes an alternative flight (a “Change Your AirAsia Flight” option), you will be able to select one of the available flight options at the time of acceptance. These are real-time options and subject to availability. Once confirmed, your flight will be guaranteed on the new itinerary.
You'll receive the Credit Account in the amount stated in the EasySwap offer (no deductions shall apply). These will be credited directly to your AirAsia Member Account and can be used to book future AirAsia flights, add-ons, taxes, government fees, or other service charges, subject to these Terms.

The remaining balance will remain valid and accessible in your AirAsia Member Account, and may be used for future purchases during the validity period. The Credit Account issued under EasySwap Offers is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance of the Credit Account.
The offer amount is dynamically calculated based on different factors, such as the commercial strategy of AirAsia. The goal is to create a fair and balanced offer that provides value to the passenger.
Please note that no personal sensitive information is used to calculate the offer, and all passengers are treated fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
No. The Credit Account is the only form of incentive offered under this product. The Credit Account provides flexibility and can be used as a form of payment for booking a new flight, taxes, government fees, or other service charges, and purchasing add-ons with AirAsia in the future.
If AirAsia approves your flight “Buyback” or flight “Change” request, the full Credit Account amount stated in the offer will be credited to the AirAsia Member Account of the primary contact for the booking, typically within 24 hours of confirmation.
If your booking includes multiple passengers, the total value will not be divided per traveler. Instead, the entire Credit Account amount will be credited to the AirAsia Member Account of the person who made the booking.
No. The offer applies to the entire booking. If accepted, the change applies to all passengers included in the booking.
Offers are subject to availability. Once the seats allocated to the offer are taken, it expires. If you’ve already checked in but the EasySwap offer is still available, you may still accept it. All accepted offers are final and non-refundable. Make sure to review all the details before confirming.
We recommend reviewing and responding to the offer as early as possible.
Please note that not all passengers will receive an EasySwap offer, and availability may vary depending on timing, travel dates, and other operational factors. If you have not received an EasySwap offer from AirAsia, you can still change your flight by visiting <manage-bookings-link>https://www.airasia.com/member/myorders/en/gb</manage-bookings-link> and paying any applicable change fees and fare difference, if and as applicable.
No. Once you accept and the change is confirmed, the transaction is final. We advise reviewing all details carefully before confirming.
No. There are no additional fees or deductions. The Credit Account amount stated in the offer is the full amount you will receive.
EasySwap Offers are issued on a flight-by-flight basis, depending on operational needs.
Rest assured that when your booking qualifies, AirAsia will notify you directly through our official notification channels.
Points are typically earned after travel is completed.
